# Shiplings

> Your build companion. A small character in the corner of your screen that lives at the rhythm of your agents.

## What it does

It codes while Claude Code codes. It waves when an agent needs you. It watches your deploys, and it jumps for joy when your PR is merged or your site goes live.

There is no dashboard: no graphs, no counters, no history. The whole state of your build is carried by one character's posture.

## Private by design

Shiplings is a native macOS menu bar app. No server, no account. Hooks and polling run locally, read-only tokens stay in the macOS keychain, and nothing leaves your Mac.

## Built with agents, for agents

Every module is documented with its role, inputs and outputs, so an agent can work on any part of the app with minimal implicit context. The app is a companion for agentic coding, and it was built the same way.
